What is Arch e-mail service?
E-mail service permits people that have the capability of sending electronic mail to send electronic mail messages to your pager. If your e-mail system is set up to forward e-mail messages, you can also receive notification on your pager when you receive an e-mail.

All Word Messaging pagers with Arch Nationwide service can receive e-mail pages and e-mail notification.

Local Word Messaging pagers can also receive e-mail pages and e-mail notification in selected markets. Contact customer service at the number listed on your most recent statement to find out if local e-mail is available in your area.

How do I enable my pager to receive e-mail notification or e-mail pages?
If you would like to enable your service to receive e-mail pages or e-mail notification please send a quick e-mail to us. Be sure to include your account information, including name, pager number, and account number. We will set up your service and respond as soon as possible. In some cases you may need to modify your service to receive e-mail notification. If that is the case, we will respond with the necessary information to upgrade your service.

Can I receive pages from any e-mail system?
If you are set-up to receive web pages sent through e-mail, you will be able to receive e-mail pages sent through most standard e-mail systems, including those used by AOL and your local Internet service provider (ISP). If you are experiencing a problem sending or receiving e-mail pages please send an e-mail to us. Be sure to include your account information, including name, pager number, and account number. We will address your problem and respond as soon as possible.

How do I send an e-mail page?
E-mail paging procedures vary depending on the type of equipment and service the subscriber has. If you have questions about, or are having difficulty sending e-mail pages to an Arch subscriber, please send an e-mail to us. Include the subscribers pager number, and we will respond with appropriate instructions. In some cases the subscriber may not be set up to receive e-mail pages, if that is the case, we will respond with the necessary information to upgrade their service.

What does the message, "Feature not enabled. Please contact your Arch representative for more information." , mean when it is displayed after a caller tries to send me an e-mail?
This means that the subscriber has the capability to receive e-mail messages but this service is not enabled on the subscribers pager. Just call the customer service number listed on your most recent statement to have e-mail added to your service plan.
