Arch subscribers with Yahoo! Mail accounts can keep track
of important e-mail messages by forwarding incoming messages
to their wireless device while they are out of the office.
Please note that Yahoo! Mail currently forwards up to 300
characters per message. Following are step-by-step instructions
to forward e-mail to your Arch wireless device.*

Step 1: Register
Your Wireless Device
To forward incoming messages from your Yahoo! Mail account
you must first register your wireless device with Yahoo!
Mobile.
- From your Yahoo! Mail "Inbox" go to the "Options"
section and select "Filters".
- From the "Filters" page select "Register you device"
or "Edit/Add New Devices" if you have previously registered
a wireless device with Yahoo! Mobile.
- Select "Alphanumeric pager" from the drop down menu.
- "Enter Device Settings" to name your wireless device
for easy reference, determine number of characters to
forward, and the number of messages to forward each
day.
- Enter the e-mail address for your wireless device.
Your wireless device e-mail address is: PIN@archwireless.net.
If you have questions about your wireless e-mail address
or the e-mail features of your wireless device please
call the phone number on your invoice and contract to
speak with a customer service representative.
- Once you have entered your wireless e-mail address,
hit the "Send" button and a confirmation code will be
sent to your wireless device.
- Enter the confirmation code that was sent to your
wireless device and click on the "Verify My Account"
button.
- Your wireless device should now appear in the "My
Mobile Devices" window. Click the "Finished" button
and then the "Save" button to proceed with setting up
filters.
Step 2: Define
Messages to Forward
- From the "Filters" page click on the "Create" button
to create a new filter.
- Set the filter parameters to determine which messages
should be forwarded to your wireless device. Only messages
meeting all criteria of the filter will be forwarded
to your wireless device.
- In the "From header" field enter the e-mail address
for anyone whose messages should be forwarded to
your wireless device.
- If you want to receive messages that were also
sent to other recipients their e-mail address in
the "To/Cc header" field.
- In the "Subject" field, type a word or phrase
that should be contained in the Subject of messages
forwarded to your wireless devices.
- If you want messages forwarded that contain certain
words or phrases in the body of the e-mail messages,
enter the words or phrases in the "Message Body"
field.
- Select the folder to forward messages to from the
drop down menu, inbox is the standard folder to forward
messages to.
- Click on the box next to "Forward to my Wireless
Device" to forward all messages meeting the criteria
of the filter to your wireless device.
Step 3: Finalize
New Rule
- Click the "Save" button to save the filter settings
you created. The new filter will now appear on the "Filters"
page.
