Welcome to the Pagenet-to-Arch Two-Way
Conversion!
Arch Wireless is dedicated to providing you with the best
possible communications services available. Since Pagenet
joined Arch, we have been diligently merging our two paging
systems. The next step in this process is to integrate and
upgrade the Pagenet Two-Way system to the Arch Two-Way system.
This change will provide you with the latest in wireless
technology and increase the reliability of the system providing
your service.
Notification letters were mailed to you approximately a
month before this change was scheduled to take place. In
addition, a text page will be sent to your two-way unit
to remind you of the change date as it approaches. You can
view these documents and the other forms of notification
used, under the heading CUSTOMER
NOTIFICATION below.

HOW AND WHEN YOU WILL BE AFFECTED:
There are 4 different ways you may be affected by this
upgrade.
- If you currently utilize personalized voice mail service,
either voice prompt or complete voice mail service, this
upgrade will require resetting your voice mail system.
- If you are using the Pagenet email address of (10-digitpagernumber)@pagenetmessage.net,
it will change to the Arch email address of (10-digitpagernumber)@archwireless.net.
- If you alpha self dispatch using software, Alphamate,
Quickpager, or direct modem access, you will need to change
your input method from 7-digits to 10-digits.
- And finally, if you utilize a direct 10-digit number,
programmed with a pin, to get One Number Solution, you
will lose that service.
- If you currently utilize the Pagenet Send A Page sites
to transmit messages to or from an advanced messaging
product, you will need to begin using the Arch Wireless
Send A Page site at www.arch.com/message.
This site may also be reached by using www.arch.com
address and selecting Arch's Send A Page site (either
the icon or tab) from that location.
If you're using a PIN number to utilize dispatch services,
we encourage you to begin using your direct 10-digit pager
number. PIN numbers will be going away in the future.
Please see below for more details of these changes.

Description of Changes:
- Voice Mail - Your voice
mail upgrade will result in the loss of personal greetings
and pass codes. Pass codes will change to 1-2-3-4 for the
purposes of this cut. Please retrieve your messages prior
to the scheduled change times and dates shown above. Unfortunately,
messages cannot be retained and will be lost. For assistance
in recording a new greeting and pass code, please review
the Arch Wireless Voice Mail User Guide.
Click
here to view the Arch Voice Mail User Guide.
- E-Mail Address - Your
email address will change from (10-digitpagernumber)@pagenetmessage.net
to (10-digitpagernumber)@archwireless.net. Your pager number
will not change.
If you have a personal 800 number, for example, 888-123-4567,
your new email address will look like this:
8881234567@archwireless.net
If you have a pin based pager number, for example,
323/1234567, your new email address will look like this:
3231234567@archwireless.net
Please note: all affected pins use either 323, 972,
or 908 in place of an area code. If you're not sure
which number applies to your pin, you can test by sending
pages to each one until you receive the page, or if
you prefer, call the customer service number listed
on your most recent invoice for assistance. Since PIN
numbers will be going away in the future, this would
be a good time to begin utilizing your direct 10-digit
number for all paging services.
If you've been using your local pager number for email
messaging, that number should continue to work using
the (10-digitpagernumber)@archwireless.net address.
The modem access numbers you are accustomed to using
will not change as a result of this upgrade. Please
see the customer letter copy below to view the individual
modem access numbers if you're not sure what number
you should be using.
To assist you in communicating this change to people
using the wrong email address after the change dates,
we have created a 'bounce back" message. When a
user sends you an email message using the old Pagenetmessage.net
email address within 45 days after the change date,
a return message will go to the user that looks like
this. This message is intended
to prompt the user to re-send their message using the
correct email address; the email message using the wrong
address will not go through.
"The subscriber you are attempting to contact
(1234567890@pagenetmessage.net) has experienced an email
address change. Your message has not been sent. Please
use the new email address of (10-digit pager number)@archwireless.net."
- Alpha Self Dispatch -
Before the cut dates listed above, alpha self dispatch using
software, Alphamate, Quickpager, or direct modem access,
required 7-digit input. After the cut date affecting your
pager number, 10-digit input will be required.
Click
here more for information on 10-digit capable software.
If you are using a personal 877 or 888 number, your
10-digit number will consist of the pager number plus
area code.
If you are using a pin based number, your 10-digit
number will consist of the pin number plus 323, 972,
or 908. As above, if you're not sure what number to
use, sending test pages can determine the 3-digit
number that matches your pin or you can call customer
service for assistance. Since PIN numbers will be
going away in the future, this would be a good time
to begin utilizing your direct 10-digit number for
all paging services.
Again, the current modem access number you're using
will not change.
- Operator Dispatch - If
you are utilizing One Number
Solution, your callers hear a tutorial of option
commands when dialing your direct 10-digit pager number.
These options direct the caller as follows: (A) to send
a numeric message press 1, (B) to leave a voice message
press 2, and (C) to reach a text messaging operator press
3.
If you have this service on a personal 877 or 888 pager
number you will not be affected.
You will be affected if you are one of the customers
utilizing operator dispatch by dialing a direct 10-digit
pager number that internally associates to a pin number
within our system. Regretfully, after the upgrade takes
place, this association will no longer be possible.
After the change date, your callers will either hear
"beep, beep, beep", or "please enter
your message after the tone".
If you wish to add voice mail or personalized voice
prompt service to your local number, or if you already
have this service, you can assist callers who are accustomed
to hearing the One Number Solution options by recording
a greeting similar to the following.
"You've reached the number
of (Mr/Ms. Customer) with (Company Name).
For voice prompt customers: If
you'd like to leave a numeric message please enter
it after the tone.
For voice mail customers: If you'd like to leave a
numeric or voice message, please enter it after the
tone.
If you'd like to send a text message, please call 800/672-4363
(800/6PAGEME) and provide the operator with my 10-digit
phone number or name. Thank you."
- Pagenet Send A Page Site
The Pagenet Send A Page sites will no longer work for
advanced messaging products after the change dates listed
in the message below. As your change date is reached,
you can begin using the Arch Wireless site at www.arch.com/message.
This site may also be reached by using www.arch.com
address and selecting Arch's Send A Page site (either
the icon or tab) from that location.
Special messages located on each web page that relate
to the Pagenet Send A Page feature will also notify users
of this change. You will find a listing of affected web
addresses below. **Please note: This change does not affect
the ability of one way units to use the appropriate Pagenet
Send A Page sites.
The special message will read like this before the cuts
take place:
"Beginning Thursday, November 14th at 11 PM Central
Standard Time, through Sunday, November 17th at 11 PM
Central Standard Time, Arch Wireless will be conducting
paging terminal conversions. As a result of these conversions,
former Pagenet Advanced Messaging customers will no longer

this:

Advanced Messaging paging terminals to Arch Wireless paging
terminals. As a result of this conversion, former Pagenet
